Dolls can be purchased as:
- Soft Fired Greenware (SFGW) - Greenware is fired to cone O18.
We will cut out eye sockets and pierce ears unless otherwise requested.
You clean the seams and size the eyes and any other preparation in your
usual manner. Our SFGW is poured in BellTM
porcelain in designated colors.
- Blanks - Blanks have been cleaned at seams and eyes are sized
to proper specs. Imperfections are corrected and then doll blank is high-fired to cone 6.
You will have to polish and china paint. Price for blank is twice that of SFGW.
- China Painted Kits - China painted kits are the third level of
completion in the doll making process. Blank has been polished, cleaned, and china painted
according to doll artist or reproduction photos and fired again one or more times as
necessary. Kit includes porcelain parts only. All accessories can be obtained from
DOLLeSTORES. Price for china painted kit is three times that of SFGW*.
- Finished Dolls - If finished doll price is not given, contact
us for specific quote.
*Rare reproduction dolls require special china painting
techniques in order to be true to antique authenticity. Contact us for price quotes
on these dolls.
